ARTHUR

Continuing TV’s longest-running animated children’s show for the YouTube generation

And I say HEY…

Since 2020, we’ve teamed up with GBH + PBS KIDS to bring the beloved Arthur franchise into the digital age with an ongoing web shorts program.

Even after the show’s 25-year broadcast run ended – making it the longest-running animated children’s show in TV history – everyone’s favorite aardvark continues to reach millions of kids through YouTube, TikTok, and an award-winning podcast!

CLIENT: GBH Boston + PBS Kids

H4H SERVICES: 2D animation, creative direction, storyboards & animatics

…what a wonderful kind of day!

Our first Arthur shorts were designed to help kids process the turbulent year of 2020, tackling everything from pandemic quarantining and wearing masks to racial justice and civil discourse during elections.

Because these shorts were responding to topical issues, we only had between 4-6 weeks to deliver each episode — including a one-week turnaround on the results of a fan-voted election for Arthur’s new school mascot!
